Are there Eagles in Eagle, CO?

We finally said "adios" to New Mexico and decided to head for some cooler weather. So, we're on the road to Colorado. We tried to stop a couple of times for a snack or a stop and play, but twice - not once, but TWICE - we were run out of towns in Colorado by packs of wild dogs! We kid you not! We didn't even get pictures of the wild dogs! They just came out of nowhere, barking like crazy when Dad tried to stop the truck. So, we just barked back and Dad burned rubber. We were just thinking we shouldn't be stopping in Colorado at all, but the scenery was beautiful.

We kept seeing these signs telling Cooper to ski, but Cooper said he can't ski. So, we're not sure what they meant.

Then we found this place and it was just right.

This is Sylvan Lake State Park in Eagle, CO.  Isn't is spectacular?!  If you wanna go too, you can read more here: http://parks.state.co.us/parks/sylvanlake/Pages/SylvanLakeStatePark.aspx

We didn't see any Eagles in Eagle, CO but we did see these:

We'll be quiet now so you can just enjoy these pawsome pictures!

It looks so beautiful! Though the packs of wild dogs would be quite frightening.

Packs of wild dogs, oh no! And be careful if you run into any eagles - I have heard they carry dogs off to their nests. I think mostly small dogs like myself are at risk, but you never know!

I bet there are eagles somewhere in Colorado. It looks like that kind of place. Hey! Colorado is where Mayzie and Ranger live. I don't know what part, but I'm pretty sure they live somewhere in the state. You should totally go visit them. They are pawsome!

Mom says that she's travelled there before, and Blueberry's sister lives out there, but I've never seen Colorado myself. It looks fascinating! I think I could outrun those wild dogs, but I'd rather not find out!

Hi everyone and thanks for visiting! Luckily we were in the truck and easily outran the wild dogs. And we haven't seen any eagles yet, but we'll keep a good hold on Taz if we do!
We didn't get a chance to visit Mayzie & Ranger 'cause we were only in CO for a day - you know, wild dogs and all!
We didn't go through Alabama this trip, we went a little north first, then west, so we missed most of the SE states. But some of us are originally from GA, so we've been close!
Thanks for the tip about iheartfaces Sunshine Home! We're totally gonna do that. It's also Shutter Love Tuesday! Hope to see all of you there!
