Mountainair Campground

We sniffed out a really nice place to camp in the foothills of the Manzano Mountains. There were lots of trees and trails to walk.

If you're going to be in the Mountainair area, check out Manzano Mountains State Park or get more info here: http://www.emnrd.state.nm.us/PRD/Manzano.htm

Here's a look outside our food hauler - nice, huh?

This park has nice big camping spaces and we could open the back of the food hauler and get some fresh air while we wait patiently for dinner. See that gate thingy? Mom and Dad say that comes in really handy for keeping adventurous dogs close by. It's adjustable all over the place and folds up flat and is really lightweight. They don't know it, but we could totally knock it over if we wanted, but we'll let them think we can't. Oh, yeah, it's washable and can be used outside, too. We're all about stuff that folds, stacks, washes and is easy to pick up.

Ha! Ha! Here's what happens to a bag of chips in high altitudes. Mom says she hopes that doesn't happen to people, too!

Stay tuned for more pics from Mountainair!

Hey that looks like fun. You're quite clever to keep a few things to yourself - like that little gate doesn't really hold you in - but if it gives them peace of mind it's a good thing.
