Hope you all enjoyed the beer and cheese and, um, your complimentary bottle of BeanO! It's gonna take us a couple days to comprehend what happened yesterday (i.e. read all your blogs) but we know it was quite a celebration. We hoped no animals were harmed during the making of this awesome celebration to honor Bunny, Pip, Puddles and Roo!
Now on to the second part of our Banquet post. We have been honored to receive appointment by HIZHONOR MAYOR FRANKIEFURTER as Directors of Travel and Tourism! We humbly and enthusiastically accept this appointment and do our best to keep you informed of places to visit that are dog friendly,
WHAT TO PACK
Well, of course, FOOD is a no-brainer
And, of course, LEASHES! Places might say they're DOG-FRIENDLY, but ONLY if you're on a LEASH. People DO NOT like dogs off leash and it could get you and your peeps in big trouble if they catch you off leash - no matter how well-behaved you are. Check this out:
Oh, yeah, and COLLARS - gotta have something to hook that leash onto. Here are some stylish options for you from some of our friends.
Happy Dogs Collar from Furry Twang
Along with proper ID tags.
Now, we know you like your stylish accessories, but we love this tag from LaserBeamCreations and it's more practical for traveling and has lots of room for your important info.
ROAD TRAVEL TIPS
DO NOT drive around like this!
Get new tires if yours look like this!
And, most importantly, if you're on a road trip, this probably means your peeps are behind the wheel and won't be relying on your keen sense of smell and direction. Trust us, they will need all the help they can get! So, we highly recommend one of these to find the best places to sniff and pee!
Well, that's all we've got time for today. Hope these travel tips will get you on your way to an awesome road trip soon!
Have a safe trip!

I couldn't agree with you more! All that stuff is so important when you travel. I have been admiring a site with those dachshund collars on it for a while, if only there were a pink option!

Great tips, Road Dogs! We wanted to let your pals know they should also pack their proof of rabies vaccination. Some campgrounds, dog parks, and hotels want to see it before the pooches can stay.
