Where in the World Are We?
We had this idea when we were over at Tales and Tails (aka Bunny's Place) today and saw this fabulous palace on Wordless Wednesday. Since there were no words, we weren't sure where or what it was. It made us think of this fun contest in the Conde Nast Traveler magazine. Each month they show a cool picture of a mystery place and the readers get to guess where it is and possibly win a prize. So, we thought we would try it here. Oh, wait, just so you know - there's no prize this time. It's just for fun and the thrill of exercising your mentals :)

Now I think this is the Entrance Gate to the world famous... MILKBONE FACTORY.
This sounds like fun! Hmmm... Well, it looks like a gate near a cemetary. Is it somewhere near you?
We talked about the place from our Wordless Wednesday last Thursday. It's the Baha'i House of Worship and it's in Wilmette, IL, a suburb of Chicago. It is one of seven temples built all over the world by the Baha'i faith. They incorporate things from all the major religions into their temples, and all seven temples are completely different. It is the most beautiful building any of us have ever seen!

I came by to say thanks for following my blog. I'm sorry I haven't visited in a while, I've been very busy.
The "guess the place" contest sounds like fun. I'll have to pass on this one though, since I've never been to the USA.
I'm so bad at this, I'm trying to see if those are little animals in the background. I would say Elvis's home, but so obviously not given the surroundings (have I said I"m bad at this?)
