Tranquil Lake Scene (Ha!)

We found this beautiful lake (technically, a reservoir) close to our campground at Rainbow Point.  It had gritty sand like a beach, not mushy mud like the lakes at home.

Pretty nice and peaceful, huh?

Storks (we think) lining up for dinner.  We like to swim, but we're glad we don't have to work that hard for food!

Kayla claims a piece of charred wood?!  It must have been used to cook some food!

Kayla contemplating the meaning of life or . . .

Is she stalking something - or someone??

Kayla getting ready to strike! What could it be?

Ah, that interloper, Cooper!

Keep away from my charred wood!

Here comes Gracie to break it up!

Cooper seeks solace with best friend, Aspen. Or, is he just hiding behind her?

Maybe your pack should be called The Wild Bunch. Anyhoo, it looks quite nice and peaceful anyway.
