Pup Tents

We totally are into the camping / road trip thing, but we do like to have a few luxuries - like our beds, for example.  And, maybe heat - if it's really cold.  And a refrigerator - you know, for eggs and stuff.  We LOVE eggs!  BUT, we discovered a whole other breed of dog out there that really likes to ruff it - with (gasp!) TENTS!  We tried a tent once, but no one could really get comfy 'cause we didn't have our orthopedic beds and it was all slanty on account of the ground and we kept sliding all over the tent floor 'cause it was slippery.  Guess we're not one of the Pure Ruffin' It Breeds like these guys -

ALL these dogs stayed in THESE -

Four dogs + two tents + four humans = a coupla stinky tents!
Hey, humans can be stinky, too!

(PeeS - We met those four dogs and wrote down their names somewhere, but someone seems to have lost it - sorry guys!)

Looks like these guys are getting ready for a weiner roast!
Wonder how come we weren't invited?

Here's the spot where all the dogs and humans were hogging the whole lake!
Okay, not really, but when we've driven thousands of miles (and some of 'em were really bumpy!), we don't want to share space with anybody!  Know what we're sayin'?

Okay, so this isn't a tent, but it was hardly bigger than one! Maybe a pup trailer.
We thought it was so cute we had to snap a pic.

I think you guys are all hard-core travelers. We go camping so seldom, when we do our big pooches share a tent with us. Though we were very careful to choose a tent with a separate entry that was bigger so there is room for everyone. Those dogs in those tents were quite big.

I pawsonally love, Love, LOVE camping in a tent! Mom, not so much. She be wanting fresh brewed coffee in the mornings, an electric plugger inner thingie fur her blow dryer, hot and cold waters, private baf, air condishunning... La di da. So we stay in cabins wot has all the amenities when we goes on hiking trips. Just gib me a tent and I be a happy camper!

I've stayed in a tent before! It was fun and I liked it a lot. It was kinda like my condo at home - only a lot bigger and with mom and dad and Brudder Ranger in it. What I DIDN'T like, though, were all these teeny little bugs that kept trying to eat me for lunch whenever we were outside of the tent. Mom and dad felt sorry for me so we left early. Now, they're thinking abouts getting a little house with wheels just for me. Cuz they luv me and stuff.

My pups stay in the tent with me and keep me warm. They don't mind. They like being able to cuddle!

I feel like we do this every night at my house, except it's a crowded bedroom instead of a tent! :-)

We've done tent camping before & I much prefer my little old motor home!

Wet dog + people + small tent = no fun

I hear you, Road Dogs! I like my creature comforts, too! As much as I love going out for my hikes, I need a nice soft bed to stretch out on when it's over!

We saw the necklace Frankie got and just had to say that it is beautiful!

Let me tell you a little secret - I am not the ruffing it kind of dog either! I know this will be a HUGE surprise to all of you, but I like my comfy bed and I start to shiver in temperatures under 60 degrees.

Your pal, Pip

P.S: Josie and I talked it over and I think we are going to dedicate a future X Paws to your idea about the sun and moon! Stay tuned! Hope you guys can participate in the episode (through the magic of photoshop and doggie blogland).

Those tents don't have AC, do they? If there's no AC I don't think it would be for me.

Heya this is somewhat of off topic but I was wanting to know if blogs use WYSIWYG editors or if
you have to manually code with HTML. I'm starting a blog soon but have no coding experience so I wanted to get guidance from someone with experience. Any help would be enormously appreciated!
