Wordless (Sorta) Wednesday

That was the "wordless" part.  Now, here come the words.  BTW, that is not one of us in case you were wondering :)

Yeah, we still haven't come up with a better name.  And we didn't intend to make this a regular thing.  But, we found this shop today in Mom's Etsy Favorites and we just had to share it with you.  We think it'll put a smile on your face. 

The phrase "joie de vivre" comes to mind when perusing Ms. Alison's shop and we think she captures it perfectly.  Yeah, we know French, duh!  Inspired and spurred on by her own Border Collies (Monty and Rosie), Susan Alison takes animal art to a new (and we think, higher) level.  We won't bore you with a lot of art critic talk - just enjoy!  Oh, yeah, her pups, Monty and Rosie, have a blog where they share more of their Mom's work and keep her inspired.

Good to the Last Drop - Anna the GSD's Spectacular Tongue-tacular Contest

Whattaya know!  We actually got our act together in time to enter Anna the GSD's Spectacular Tongue-tacular Contest.  Although there was a bit of arguing among the ranks about WHOSE tongue was spectacular enough to be featured.  But after checking out the photos, there was really only one way to go, don't you agree?  So, here's Kayla's tongue in action - we call this photo series "Good to the Last Drop."

Haley Dreis Cute Video and PETS, Inc.

You may have seen this adorable video by Haley Dreis over at the always amazing Life with Dogs.  But, in case you didn't, we wanted to share it here 'cause this University of South Carolina student/singer/songwriter has vowed to donate $1000 to PETS, Inc. of Columbia, SC if her video gets 10,000 views.  The video is filled with cute puppies, need we say more???  And you might just be humming her tune the rest of the day.  Check her song out and help Haley donate some green papers to the shelter.

R & R Auction

Our adorable furiends Richie and Ronnii sure could use your help!  Their rescue shelter is closing its doors and can no longer help with their medical expenses.  Richie and Ronnii's foster parents have adopted them into their family now, but they sure could use help with Richie and Ronniie's special needs.  So their furiends got together and are having an auction and some other fun events (kisses anyone???) to help raise money.  Check out the links or pictures below to find your favorite events!  There's something for EVERYONE - shopping, kissing, door prizes and a bake sale.
