GIVEAWAY - Not Edible

Okay, boys and girls (and Puddles) - here's your chance for a giveaway and believe it or not - you're already a WINNER!  All you have to do is send us your snail mail addy if you want one and we'll take care of the rest!  No kidding!  What?  Oh, you wanna know what we're giving away, right? 


A month or so ago, we were contacted by the lovely folks at Build-A-Sign inviting us to make our own stickers!  Thanks Mayzie :)  We were super excited because we've had this idea knocking around in our brains for awhile and really wanted to make it into a bumper sticker.  So, when Build-A-Sign contacted us, we said YES! Thank you!  As is our tradition, it took some time for us to get in gear and send the design to Build-A-Sign.  Okay, we admit that we were a bit intimidated at first - we don't even have (or know how to use) photoshop!  Would we be humiliated like Cooper was at Dock Dogs and the trick contest?  We finally got up our nerve to go to the website - thanks to others of you who have made stickers with Build-A-Sign and posted about how EASY PEASY it was.  And, sure enough, it IS EASY PEASY!  We had the EXACT design we wanted in just a few minutes, emailed it to Build-A-Sign and VOILA - awesome stickers!  We received the stickers just a week later.  And we didn't even break a sweat.


So, are you hyped now?  Wanna see our sticker design?  Huh, do ya?  Okay, here it is ~

We think it's kinda cool and this is a message near and dear to our hearts!  Now, if you like it, too and want one of your very own to display, just send us an email with your snail mail addy and we'll pop one in the mail to you.  You don't have to have an automobile to display it on either - you can put it on whatever mode of transportation you have:

Banquet - Part Deux

Let the celebration continue!!!  Although after all the "celebrating" yesterday, I'm not sure if anybody will be able to read this today :)  That was some rockin' party!  And that band!  WOW!  You totally rocked Free Bird, dudes!  None of the bands here in SC will play it anymore.  Seriously.  Some of 'em even have signs they put up that say "Don't ask me to play *#@!&* Free Bird."  We don't know why.

Hope you all enjoyed the beer and cheese and, um, your complimentary bottle of BeanO!  It's gonna take us a couple days to comprehend what happened yesterday (i.e. read all your blogs) but we know it was quite a celebration.  We hoped no animals were harmed during the making of this awesome celebration to honor Bunny, Pip, Puddles and Roo! 

Now on to the second part of our Banquet post.  We have been honored to receive appointment by HIZHONOR MAYOR FRANKIEFURTER as Directors of Travel and Tourism!  We humbly and enthusiastically accept this appointment and do our best to keep you informed of places to visit that are dog friendly, educational fun and offer free treats.  Today we would like to offer some basic pre-travel tips for those of you that might be taking road trips soon.

WHAT TO PACK 

Well, of course, FOOD is a no-brainer



And, of course, LEASHES!  Places might say they're DOG-FRIENDLY, but ONLY if you're on a LEASH.  People DO NOT like dogs off leash and it could get you and your peeps in big trouble if they catch you off leash - no matter how well-behaved you are.  Check this out:

Get new tires if yours look like this!

And, most importantly, if you're on a road trip, this probably means your peeps are behind the wheel and won't be relying on your keen sense of smell and direction.  Trust us, they will need all the help they can get!  So, we highly recommend one of these to find the best places to sniff and pee!

Banquet - Part One

We're gathering here in Blogville today to honor and celebrate the Race of the Century between our good furiends Pip and Bunny and their coaches Roo and Puddles!  Yay!  We're sure you all saw this Amazing Race, but if you didn't, well, you really must go see it here or here.  Words cannot describe!  We laughed.  We cried.  We shouted with joy.  We're sure you did, too.  And, at the end of the day ~ we had TWO WINNERS!  So, what better way to celebrate this great feat of athleticism than to break out one of Puddles' favorite beverages.  We hijacked this from the SEWE festival last weekend.  So, here's to all of you!

And it's just not a proper celebration, Southern style, without Peanuts!  So, from us to you, a Southern delicacy we Southerners call BAWLD Peanuts (that's boiled peanuts for you out-of-towners). 

YUM! YUM!

And if you don't like your peanuts bawld, why you can have them deep-fried - another Southern specialty.  We deep-fry just about everything down here - even pickles!



And if you're not huge fans of the peanuts - well, what kinda party would this be without Cheetos! 

And, of course, we have to put a little Southern twist on 'em ~ so enjoy:  Mac & Cheetos Pie!  Yeah, baby!  Is that enough CHEEEEESE for ya?
