Artsy Fartsy Friday

We're bringing Artsy Fartsy Friday a little more local today.  We think you're gonna flip over this artist's work.  She paints and sculpts dogs and other animals in a way we had never seen before.  We wish you could see these in person 'cause these photos just can't show the texture and adorableness of her work.  She uses about a billion (more or less) strips of painted canvas to create these dogs with personality galore!  Her name is Robin Anne Cooper and she hangs out in Clemson, SC.  It's not exactly Charleston, but she does sell her work at a gallery here so we've seen it up close and in the fur.  It's awesome!  Check out the paintings below and if you'd like to see more of her work - go HERE

How interesting! It must be nice to be so artistically creative - the Momster has no artistic talent at all.

Those are some very cool pieces. We looked at the whole gallery and decided we liked the ones where the doggies were running or moving the very best. We'd love to see them in canine someday.
