When Mom has trouble sleeping, she puts one of her favorite movies in the DVD player and snuggles on the sofa. Usually in about 10 minutes, she's asleep and dreaming about chasing rabbits and . . . oh, wait, that's what WE dream about. What the heck do peeps dream about??? Oh, well, nevermind. Anyway, she sleeps through the WHOLE rest of the movie and then WAKES up when it's over. So NOW, she's awake again and has to restart the movie to fall asleep AGAIN. This goes on pretty much all night until the wee hours of the morning. Then about 3:00 or 4:00, she gets in the bed and sleeps some more. We just can't understand this routine and we gotta say it kinda interrupts our OWN sleep. NOT to mention that the sofa is supposed to be all OURS when the peeps go to bed, right? But does she care about that?! Noooooo . . . So, we're just wondering ~ Does anybody else's peeps have weird sleeping habits or is it just ours???

A couple of notes: We're having some super slow-as-molasses innernuts AND some issues with STICKY KEYS. Sometimes we start typing a comment on your blogs and all of a sudden it looks like this ~

Wow, great story! My Mom likes to watch the same movies over and over, but not to sleep by. Dad falls asleep & snores almost the second his head hits the pillow! It's amazingly fast. Love your story about your Mom. :)

Ha Ha - sounds like your 'puter is a bit of a flake too:) We just love those funny comments, gives us all a good chuckle. Even better are the ones Mom leaves from her iPad with all the autocorrect boo boos:)
Mom says if she wants a nap all she has to do is go to the movies with Dad and zzzzzz, she is out cold.

Oh, I have to stop chuckling at the ending of your post! Too funny. Before the holidays, I spilled a mug of coffee on my keyboard and it did not like the "D" key anymore...fortunately, I dug up an old dusty spare to get me through (I had asked Santa for a new Mac keyboard to replace it and was being good patiently waiting for Christmas to get it!)
I so can relate to the dozing off during a movie! That's an M.O. I definitely share with your peeps!

Hehehehe...your mom is too funny! My mum is wakin' up when yours is goin' to bed...I has no idea why my mum does dat cuz hers don't has to go to work EVERS! Oh and da couch is OURS anytime of day...hehehehe.
Sticky keys...we hads dat problem and hads to gets a whole new keyboard. It was a wireless but it went kaput!

I am glad my peeps don't go to the living room to watch TV! Mom will sometimes do a little reading if she can't sleep, but that's it. Dad's the one with the weird sleeping habits!

My mom hits that pillow and it's lights out fur her til morning time. We tire her out all day long going out. Coming in. Going out. Coming in. Going out. Coming in... Well, you get the point. She be so tired at nite she cannot wait to get into her bed, BOL.
Now, the sticky key thing, that happened to us afore and no, I did not drool on the keyboard. There be a fix fur that. I cannot remmmer wot it is, sumpin I found when I googled the prawblem. I dussn't rememmer coz I woz too bizzy scratching at the door going out, coming in, going out, coming in....

My mom has some funny sleeping habits - in that she can't sleep straight through the night - always tossing and turning and disturbing my beauty sleep. Oh yeah, I sleep on the bed at night and the couch during the day. Bawhahahaha.
I am feeling much better. Though I guess I still have to go to this silly cardiologist guy on Monday. Yuck!

That's so funny! Usually, the internet messing up and sticky key pads are no good, but it's always nice to get a good laugh out of a typo haha. My female human is like yours as well with the movies. She takes it a step further and sleeps through movies at all times of the day. It could be 6 p.m. and you start a movie, she will be asleep in literally 10 minutes. Oh my pug.
Hardy Har Har :D K, Mom asked me to ask your Mom what movie helps her sleep. Cause she can see the TV really good from the foot of the bed ;) and would like something better to watch than the programmed stuff. This is such a fun event! Thanks all for puttin it on! :D

When our Dad is away on business our Mommy has trouble sleeping. She stays up all night and she sleeps with the light on. She reads in bed falls asleep, wakes up reads some more and falls asleep. It isn't very restful we can tell you. Then it the middle of the day she falls asleep on the couch. Peeps have weird sleeping habits.
