Banquet - Part One
We're gathering here in Blogville today to honor and celebrate the Race of the Century between our good furiends Pip and Bunny and their coaches Roo and Puddles! Yay! We're sure you all saw this Amazing Race, but if you didn't, well, you really must go see it here or here. Words cannot describe! We laughed. We cried. We shouted with joy. We're sure you did, too. And, at the end of the day ~ we had TWO WINNERS! So, what better way to celebrate this great feat of athleticism than to break out one of Puddles' favorite beverages. We hijacked this from the SEWE festival last weekend. So, here's to all of you!
This Bud's for you! Enjoy!
And it's just not a proper celebration, Southern style, without Peanuts! So, from us to you, a Southern delicacy we Southerners call BAWLD Peanuts (that's boiled peanuts for you out-of-towners).
And if you don't like your peanuts bawld, why you can have them deep-fried - another Southern specialty. We deep-fry just about everything down here - even pickles!
And if you're not huge fans of the peanuts - well, what kinda party would this be without Cheetos!
And, of course, we have to put a little Southern twist on 'em ~ so enjoy: Mac & Cheetos Pie! Yeah, baby! Is that enough CHEEEEESE for ya?
Um, did anyone remember the BEAN-O??? We're gonna need like - a CASE of the stuff!
So - join in the fun, help yourselves to some snacks, sit back and enjoy the entertainment -- it's going on all weekend long!
And after you've had your fill of cheese and beer, head on over to the AUCTION for Richie and Ronnii here http://pawsofpeace.blogspot.com/. You can find out more about the auction over at Frankie's place.
And stay tuned for Banquet - Part Two Tomorrow!
