DUCK TAPE FESTIVAL

Duck Tape Festival + Rescue Me Week = lots of fun in Blogville and, hopefully, some new furever homes for some animals.  Check out adorable adoptable Katie after the DUCK TAPE entries!

We're so excited to be co-hosting Blogville's FIRST DUCK TAPE FESTIVAL with the Honorable Mayor FRANKIE FURTER!  We will be bringing you the finest ARTSY FARTSY DUCK TAPE CREATIONS Blogville residents have to offer while MAYOR FRANKIE will presenting entries in the DUCK TAPE IN ACTION category.  Without further ado, we present the first ARTSY FARTSY entry from Blogville's very own COP SARGE.  Sarge had us ROFBOL with this one ~

SARGE made his very own personal CHIPMUNK!

We all know how Sarge feels about the chipmunks!
He says:  "I wanted inspiration and practice for my bashings. The only problem is now that the art is done, I just wanna kill it!! BOL"

Very clever use of DUCK TAPE, Sarge!  That's one way to control the enemy 'munks!  Thanks so much, Sarge, for sharing your DUCK TAPE creativity with us!

Stay tuned tomorrow for another ARTSY FARTSY DUCK TAPE CREATION.  Now, head on over to Frankie's place for MORE DUCK TAPE CREATIONS.  But, FIRST . . .

Don't go away -
We're also participating in Mayzie's Rescue Me Home event in honor of her Grandpa J.  The first adoptable dog we would like to present is adorable little Katie!  She is a chocolate brown and tan dachshund mix, 6 years old, and a tiny 10 lbs.  She is housetrained and crate trained and would be the apple of your eye.  After spending her life outdoors (can you believe it?) her "person" dumped her at the shelter.  She's living with her foster pawrents in Georgia now, but would love her very own furever home and is more than willing to cross state lines for that perfect furever family.  Could it be you???  Go HERE to read lots more about Katie and see more adorable pics at Katie's Forever Dachshund Rescue page!

Katie loves walks and is great on a leash says her foster mom.

Katie's most excited to have her own bed after spending her life outdoors!  She's good with other dogs (male and female), but hasn't been tested with kids or cats.  Don't you want to know MORE about little Katie?
